Introduction
Shree Mahendra Secondary School, located in Mahakali Municipality—a tri-national border point in the western part of Sudurpashchim Province—was established on the holy occasion of Janai Purnima on Shrawan 27, 2017 B.S. as a Middle School. Key Milestones: 1968 (2025 B.S.): The school expanded to the secondary level and successfully sent its first batch of students for the S.L.C. examinations. 1971 (2028 B.S.): It was designated as a permanent S.L.C. Examination Center, a role it continues to fulfill to this day. 1993/94 (2050/51 B.S.): Higher Secondary classes (Grade 11 and 12) were introduced to further academic growth. 2005 (2062 B.S.): The school was honored with the "Model School" title by the then Higher Secondary Education Council. 2016 (2073 B.S.): The erstwhile Khalanga Primary School merged with this institution. 2017 (2074 B.S.): English medium instruction was officially launched. Technical Programs: The school introduced Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2018 (2075 B.S.) and Pre-Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2020 (2077 B.S.). ?
